Hi, I’m Andrae – Founder of Work Wanderers and Nomad Week. I’m a proud South African entrepreneur and Cape Town local, passionate about building meaningful connections between nomads and the places they visit.

In 2018, I traded in my 9–5 for the freedom of digital nomad life, and over the past 7 years I’ve travelled to 45 countries, hosted 12+ nomad retreats around the world, and coached hundreds of aspiring nomads to launch their own businesses or go remote.

I’m beyond excited to team up with Matt to host the 2nd edition of Nomad Week in Cape Town – a week dedicated to community, connection, growth, learning, and making a positive local impact. I can’t wait to share my hometown with you, help you connect with the local community, and give back while experiencing everything Cape Town has to offer – which, trust me, is a lot!

Hi, I’m Matt – Founder of Pangea, the leading app for digital nomads & frequent travelers to share their travel plans with friends! I’ve been traveling for 14 years & have been lucky enough to live explore & work from more than 100 countries.

I’m originally from New York, but Cape Town has quickly become my favorite city in the world, and is now where I spend most of my time when I’m not exploring new places.

This will be my 4th season in Cape Town, and I’m thrilled to be co-hosting NomadWeek with Andrae! We’re excited to make it the best year yet by bringing together this awesome community and I can’t wait to explore South Africa, along with some new countries like Leshoto, Eswatini, Mozambique & Malawi with all of you!
